FEES AND INSURANCE

I would not be the first one to admit that fees, billing, and insurance can sometimes be incredibly confusing when trying to access care. With that being said, I will try my absolute best to assist with questions you may have.

I firmly believe everyone should have access to care. If finances and/or insurance are barriers for you, please let me know and we can chat about solutions.

INSURANCE

I always recommend contacting your insurance provider directly before your first session. They can confirm whether your plan covers mental health services and what your out-of-pocket costs may be (if any). Ask about copays, deductibles, and whether prior authorization is required.

I am currently in-network (I have active contracts) with these insurance providers:

  • Optum, which may include:

    • UnitedHealthcare (UHC)

    • UMR

    • Select Medica behavioral health plans

  • Cigna

  • Carelon Behavioral Health

  • Quest Behavioral Health

  • Aetna

  • Anthem EAP - Expanded

I am IN THE PROCESS of becoming in-network with (I do NOT have active contracts with these companies, but am working on it) several additional insurance providers:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of MN

  • HealthPartners

  • Medica

  • Medicare

  • UCare

  • Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services

These are expected to be available later in 2026. Reach out if you’d like to be notified when I become in-network.

In the meantime, while I wait until I am in-network with these insurances, I’m happy to work with clients using out-of-network benefits (see below), and can provide everything you need for possible reimbursement.

Not sure if I take your insurance? Reach out, let me know, and you can send a photo of your insurance card and I’ll verify benefits for you.

I will update this page as new insurance contracts become active.

SELF-PAY RATES

My fee schedule is below. If you are using insurance, the cost at the time of session may vary depending on your unique benefits.

Diagnostic Assessment (Initial Intake): $210

Individual Therapy:

53-60  Minute Session - $160

38-52 Minute Session - $135

16-37 Minute Session - $110

Late Cancel (less than 24 hour notice) Fee: $100

No Show Appointment: $160

OUT-OF-NETWORK BENEFITS

If I am not currently in-network with your insurance plan, you may still be able to receive out-of-network reimbursement depending on your benefits.

This means:

  • You pay for sessions at the time of service

  • I provide a superbill (a detailed receipt)

  • You submit it to your insurance for possible reimbursement

Depending on your plan, clients may receive partial reimbursement for each session.

If you’re unsure whether your plan includes out-of-network benefits, I’m happy to help you ask the right questions so you can understand your coverage before getting started.
